Overview

Reptiles include snakes, lizards, turtles, etc.

  • Evidence of the earliest reptiles dates back 312 million years.
  • Snakes don’t have ears. Using their jaws, snakes sense movement through vibrations on the ground and in the air.
  • Turtles have a wide variety of eating habits, varying by species. Turtles can be carnivores and only eat meat, herbivores and only eat plants, and omnivores that eat both meat and plants.
