Foxes

Overview

Foxes include gray fox, kit fox, and Sierra Nevada red fox. 

• Gray fox use their tail as a blanket during cold weather. 
• Kit fox has fur on the pads of its paws. The fur protects their feet from the hot sand, provides extra grip, and enables the fox to walk silently.
